September cohort
Forward Deployed Analyst
We are hiring a cohort of forward deployed analysts, starting in September. You will sit between the investment teams who use Avyn and the code that runs it. One day you are inside a fund's actual workflow, the next you are shipping the thing that fixes it.
What the job actually is
This is not a support role, and it is not a solutions role that files tickets for someone else to build. You go and see how a venture capital or private equity team really works, you find the part that is slow or wrong, and then you build the fix and put it in front of them. The loop from noticing something to shipping it is measured in days here, and often in hours.
Who tends to be good at this
- You studied computer science, or you understand software architecture for real. You can read a system and know where it will break.
- You have been near the sharp end of a startup, or you have worked in venture capital or private equity and know what an investment team does all day.
- Above all, you execute. The distance between having the idea and having it shipped is the thing we are measuring.
How we hire
Honestly: we are not going to decide from a CV and two phone calls. If your application reads well we will get you into the office, give you real work, and we will both find out what you can do. That is the test, and it runs both ways. You get to see how we build before you commit to it.
Why here
We are a small team outpacing competitors valued in the billions. Not because we are smarter than they are. Because our shipping speed is genuinely outrageous, the AI harness we build on is well ahead of what most engineering organisations are running, and we have set the company up so the person doing the work makes the call. Merit is the only currency here, and you will feel that in your first week.
